The purpose of this conference is to share Panama's experience meeting equivalence requirements with the European Union of the "Covid-19 Digital Certificate“. When travelling, EU Digital COVID Certificate holders should in principle be exempt from free movement restrictions. Panama is the first country in the region that has met European Union requirements. The Panama Certificate is issued by the Government Innovation Authority (AIG).
