Small Business Owners in and around Kingstown are being afforded an opportunity to develop their skills in using and managing basic Information Communication Technology (ICT) tools to advance their businesses.
This when the Centre for Enterprise Development Inc (CED) continues its series of workshops entitled, Computer Training for Small Business Development.
The training takes place from November 8-10 at the CED Conference Room. It is designed to familiarize small business owners with Microsoft Word to create business letters, how to create business cards and flyers; and how to use MS Excel to create cash flow statements. They would also learn how to use search engines on the internet, set up email accounts and how to send emails with and without attachments.
Since the series began in July, 39 small business owners from the communities of Georgetown, Mesopotamia, Barrouallie and Chateaubelair have benefitted.
