excelGOV Awards
The Awards for Excellence in digital government, excelGOV, are organized every two years by Red GEALC (the Network of Electronic Government Authorities of Latin America and the Caribbean) with the support of the IADB (Inter-American Development Bank) and the OAS (Organization of American States).
Submissions of operating solutions (projects or proofs of concepts are not accepted) at national level (provincial or municipal are not accepted) are expected for the two following categories:
1 – Digital transformation.
2 – Digital government against COVID-19.
The winning government agency in each category will be awarded with a Technical Mission to South Korea, all expenses paid, that is financed by the IADB.
Special mentions on (a) Gender Approach, (b) Open Data and (c) Emerging Technologies will be awarded amongst all participants of the two categories.
The winner of each special mention will be awarded a grant to a virtual course in the OAS Campus.
New deadline for submissions: October 20th, 2020 at 11:59 pm Costa Rica time.
Each person or agency may submit as many candidates as wanted.
The results will be announced during the 6th E-Government Ministerial Meeting of Latin America and the Caribbean (November 18th to 20th, 2020) As in every edition, the jury is formed by the participating delegations with one vote per country.
